Finally, after several years of efforts and struggles between two countries India and Pakistan, Kartarpur Corridor is ready to serve the pilgrimage of devotees from India to the Sri Kartarpur Sahib Gurudwara in Pakistan. Online booking has been already started for Kartarpur Sahib corridor registration and find here the step by step procedure for the same. Please note there is no offline registration mode for Kartarpur sahib yatra, you can only register through online mode by visiting the dedicated website.

  • Visit https://prakashpurb550.mha.gov.in, this is a dedicated website for Kartarpur Corridor registration. Devotees or applicants may find here all the required details, instructions and apply here online for Kartarpur Sahib yatra for a particular date.

  • I suggest you check out all the “General instructions for pilgrims” as well as “Instructions for filling registration form” before applying online and filling all the details for continuous and smooth application without any interruption.

  • Click on “Apply Online” for filling the online registration form. After selecting the nationality you need to enter your journey date. You may select your dates from the available slots only. Once selected your date slot, click continue.

  • Now applicants are asked to enter passport details, name, gender, address, DOB, contact information, blood group, and other concerned information. Fill all the details and continue to go-ahead for further procedure.

  • Once application form filling is completed then you have to upload or attach a scanned copy of required documents such as passport and passport size photograph. After a successful upload, the registration is done and you may print the application form.

  • Now you have to wait till the time you receive a confirmation for the selection in Kartarpur Sahib yatra for the proposed date and it will be confirmed 4 days before the proposed date of travel. If you are selected then you will be provided ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) which needs to be carried along while traveling to the Gurudwara in Kartarpur.


Important Notes

  1. Devotees have to register in advance for Kartarpur Sahib Yatra and confirmation will be sent 4 days before the proposed date of travel. Once the confirmation received then you may carry on with your arrangements for the travel. Also, this is just a one day travel which will start in the morning and end in the evening time. Devotees have to return by the evening time.
  2. The applicant must have a valid passport which is required while filling the registration form.
  3. Traveling through the Kartarpur corridor is visa-free.

How to reach Kartarpur Corridor?


The Kartarpur corridor is built from Gurudwara Dera Baba Nanak (Gurdaspur, Punjab, India) to Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib (Narowal, Pakistan). The Indian part of the corridor comprises a 4.1 kilometers long highway from Dera Baba Nanak to the international border and an ultra-modern Passenger Terminal Building at the international border where Immigration and customs checks will be carried out.

On the traveling date, devotees first have to visit Passenger Terminal Building (PTB) at Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur along with the relevant documents and complete the immigration and customs checks. The Punjab Government will provide a shuttle service for PTB at Dera Baba Nanak from the selected points. Thereafter proceed for security check and then start the travel through the corridor to the Gurudwara Kartarpur Sahib.

Pilgrims will have to return by the evening period of the same day since they are provided with the ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) which is only valid from dawn to dusk of the travel date.
