Nilini Ayurvedic Hair Color (by Shesha Ayurveda) Review

Review of Nilini Ayurvedic Hair Color by Shesha Ayurveda

I have been trying several natural and ayurvedic methods for my hair care and hair color. I tried various DIY videos for hair masks, hair care, and hair color. Finding the safe natural way to color my grey hair was the most important for me. Following Preity Prerna's videos, a year ago I stopped doing hair coloring and started using natural and ayurvedic methods to color my hair.

I was using 2 step Henna Indigo method to color my grey hair. Instead of Indigo I also use Greynil black shade sometimes after the henna application. But at the same time, I was also looking for an alternative to the 2 step Henna Indigo method. Then I saw Nilini's review on a YouTube channel which was quite satisfactory. I ordered and got it for myself. Here is my honest review of Nilini Ayurvedic Hair Color by Shesha Ayurveda.

nilini ayurvedic hair color review

About Nilini ayurvedic hair color

Nilini ayurvedic hair color (that contains ingredients Neer Brahmi, Indigo, Aloe Vera, Amla, Coconut shell powder, Henna, Curry leaves, and Hibiscus leaves) claims to provide natural black color to the white or grey hair. It is a product of Shesha Ayurveda and it is 100% natural.

Packaging

I liked the packaging of Nilini ayurvedic hair color very much. It comes in a pouch that contains Nilini hair color kit along with Lord Dhanvantari's image. Nilini packet includes 2 sachets of 20 gms. So the net weight of the Nilini hair color is 40 gms in this pack. Shesha Ayurveda suggests using the product right after opening the sachet as it is not useful after 3 hours.

nilini ayurvedic hair color review

Nilini ayurvedic hair color Price

It costs Rs. 290 for 40 gm pack. Additional shipping charge Rs. 70 will be added if your shopping amount is less than Rs. 1500.

Availability

The availability of this product is a major concern. Most of the time I see it is out of stock and not available. Now I am for its availability, once it is in stock I will order extra.

How to apply Nilini ayurvedic hair color?

Shesha Ayurveda suggests and recommends doing a mandatory 48-hour patch test before application. To justify this patch test, they have given detailed information on their website and also in the leaflet along with Nilini hair color kit. I did not do any patch test and applied it directly.

Remove the powder from both the sachets into the bowl and mix them with the water to make a smooth consistency just like we make henna paste.

Apply it all over your scalp and hair strands. Leave it for 1 hour and then wash your hair simply with water. Do not use shampoo for the next 2 days.

Do not forget to apply hair oil after drying your hair.

Use hand gloves compulsorily while applying otherwise you may get black stains on your hands.

How was my experience with Nilini ayurvedic hair color?

I saw all my white hair was turned to black perfectly. In the natural light, you will see the brown color but when I looked into the mirror they all seem black. Inside the house, my hair looks black in color but when I step out in the natural light, my white hair looked brown. I was totally satisfied with Nilini ayurvedic hair color. Finally, I found an alternative for 2 step henna indigo process that met my expectations. I got rid of so long 2-step hair color process and it needed only 1 hour to wait after application.

nilini ayurvedic hair color review

I am so happy that I found Nilini and I will definitely use it again and again to cover my white hair. It is the best alternative for 2 step henna indigo process till now because I am still searching for more wonderful natural ayurvedic hair colors.

How long does Nilini last?

The black color developed after the application of Nilini lasted for 3 weeks. After 3 weeks it starts fading it turns like a henna color. You need to apply it again after 3 weeks because by then white hair grows from the roots which are seen. In my case, I managed for 1 month comfortably but still, white hairs grown from roots were seen. I wanted to order again but it was not in stock so I applied henna indigo hair color after 4 weeks.

Overall I am satisfied with Nilini ayurvedic hair color by Shesha Ayurveda and I will also recommend it to others who are looking for a natural hair color to cover white hair.

Do you know any other natural or ayurvedic hair color that you find satisfactory? If yes then please let us know through the comment section.

Puri Blue flag Golden beach

Golden Beach in Puri is a Blue Flag-certified beach which means it is cleaner, safer, better quality, well facilitated, and environment friendly. There are a total of 10 blue flag beaches in India and Golden Beach in Puri (Odisha) is one of them. Recently while my trip to the Jagannath temple in Puri, I visited here and I am quite impressed with this beach. Here I will share my honest review or experience, the various details of the facilities offered there, and also find the entry fee charged.

All about Puri Blue Flag Golden Beach and my review/experience

  • This is fascinating to be here. The totally neat and clean, limited crowd, sitting benches, a sit-out umbrella with recliner, the wind, the sound of waves, the combination of all of these is wonderful. This is called Golden Beach because of the golden sand here.
  • This is very clean and you won't find the litter anywhere. Cleanliness is maintained all the time and you feel amazing.
  • This is under surveillance with CCTV cameras. Also, the lifeguard/watchtower was installed there at two locations.
  • I enjoyed bathing at Blue Flag Golden Beach with my family and it was a great experience.
  • There are separate showers and changing rooms for gents and ladies where you can take a shower and change your clothes after bathing in seawater.
  • Greenery is maintained with several plants around and also there is a kids' play area along with fitness equipment. If you don't want to enter the sand area then you can spend your time here otherwise you can take a walk along the jogging track.
  • This place is perfect for clicking pictures and shooting. You get so many amazing views for pictures.
  • There are no shops at Blue Flag Golden Beach. If you are looking for some snacks, or seafood items or you want to explore the beach market then you can cross the barricade and enter the common Golden Beach. There you will find yourself in a huge crowd. Several food stalls, camel rides, vendors selling toys, etc are found there.

Also, read "Shirdi travel guide - accommodation, food, Sai darshan, local tour".

Overall this is an amazing place to visit and if you are here in Puri for Jagannath temple darshan then you must not avoid visiting this beach.

Best Youtube channel for hair and skin care (personal experience)

Best Youtube channel for hair and skin care (personal experience)

There are already so many Youtube channels and several new channels emerging every day but very few of them survive and establish their own brand. I am a frequent Youtube viewer/audience and I follow several channels in various categories. Here I will list the top/best youtube channels for hair care, skincare, and beauty. This is based on my experience as an audience and I appreciate this YouTuber a lot as she adds value to her viewer's life and so she deserves to be one of the best YouTubers.

top youtube channel for hair skincare

The best Youtube channel for hair and skin care - Preity प्रेरणा

Preity प्रेरणा, one of my favorite youtube channels. This channel started in the last quarter of the year 2019 and it grew very rapidly. It provides DIY hair care, skincare, and other beauty-related videos. The owner of the channel is Prerna who is capable enough to engage her audience very well. I have tried her several hair-care and skincare videos and they worked just like magic.

Also, read Preity Prerna's Biography to know more about her.

Why I chose Preity प्रेरणा as the best Youtube channel?

There are several reasons.

  1. She gives complete information (root, cause, effect, and detail of each and every ingredient) in every video on the channel and the way she talks is very impressive. Skipping the video means missing the important information.

  2. There is so much positivity in her words that you believe in her words and you will definitely try her remedies.

  3. So many positive comments you will find there in the comment section and all these are her viewers/subscribers who are benefitted from her remedies. Happily, they share their story. I have never seen negative comments or maybe there is no such thing.

  4. I find her very genuine. She never creates promotional videos. She shares those things that benefitted her and they might be useful to the audience.

My journey with Preity प्रेरणा youtube channel

Now I will talk about my experience. I had a lot of hair fall due to which my hair became thin and very rough. I didn't like my hair at all. Earlier also I had seen many YouTube videos and tried them as well but they failed to keep me engaged with them.

Once, one of the Preity प्रेरणा's videos popped in my Youtube feed, initially, I ignored it but later ended up watching her hair care video and immediately subscribed. I do not easily subscribe to any channel but yes, it convinced me to do it.

Prerna's positive words impressed me so much that I started following regular DIY haircare remedies for my hair and magic happened. My hair fall stopped, my hair has become very soft and shiny now.

Following her words, I have stopped using my regular hair shampoo and started ayurvedic shampoo. The hair conditioner is out of my list now, I have not used any hair conditioner for the last 7 months.

Also, I have a white hair issue and now I am switching permanently to herbal hair color to avoid further damage from the hair colors available in the market.

Read, the Review of Nilini Ayurvedic hair color by Shesha Ayurveda.

I regularly apply one of the hair masks suggested by Prerana and they are all working wonderfully. My hair is healthier, softer, and shinier after I started following Prerana.

Most importantly, I have started loving my hair a lot and paying more attention to it than before. All credit goes to Prerna who motivated me for all this and provided value with the perfect video. Many many thanks to her.

Conclusion

If you are the one who is still struggling with the hair woes then I would suggest you follow one of the videos from her channel related to your issue and see the magic yourself.

Her skincare videos are also good but I have used only 1 or 2 videos only (like DIY face wash) and they all worked for me.

The positive results after every remedy strengthen my faith in her again and again. This is the reason I am writing about her in my post today and I want everyone to get benefited like me.

Disclaimer:

This is not a promotional article and it is purely based on my opinion and experience. Whatever I observed and liked, I listed it here.

Natural hair color Khadi Shuddha Black Mehendi review

Natural hair color Khadi Shuddha Black Mehendi review

Due to the wide range of white hair, I regularly apply hair color. I have tried several things on my hair for coloring such as henna, various chemical hair colors, indigo powder, Greynil herbal hair color but never tried black henna. This time I thought of trying it once and I bought Khadi Shuddha Black Mehendi from the nearby store. Here I will share my honest review of this black henna (kali Mehendi).

Khadi Shuddha black mehendi review

About Khadi Shuddha Black Mehendi

It comes in a 100 gms package and the box contains 5 pouches of 20 gms black henna. It costs Rs. 150 for 100 gm pack. This is GMP certified and KVIC (Khadi and Village Industries Commission) approved.

Packet says

Revealing everything about Khadi Shuddha Black Mehendi the packet itself says, this is a 100% natural hair color and it is Ammonia-free. If it is applied regularly then it keeps hair black and covers grey (white) hair. If there are some issues like dandruff or lice then they will be cured.

Ingredients

Ingredients are Henna powder, Amla powder, Brahmi powder, Shikakai powder, Bhringraj powder, aloe vera, Hibiscus powder, Para Phenylenediamine (also known as PPD), and preservatives.

Please note, they claim to be 100% natural but it contains PPD, a very toxic chemical, so it is equivalent to any other hair dye in the market. Please do not misunderstand the black Mehendi same as herbal hair color. Applying only henna on your hair is far better than this kali Mehendi.

Khadi Shuddha Black Mehendi review

I had to do only touch up so I used just 2 pouches (20 gms*2) of henna.

Preparation

I prepared the henna paste as per the instructions given in the packet. It says simply mix the black henna with water (to make a smooth paste) 20-30 minutes before applying it to hair. I mixed it and kept it for 1 hour then applied it to the hair.

Application

The mixture was not very smooth. The spread of the mixture is very rough on hair. I kept this henna paste on my hair for 2 hours and then washed it with only water. I did not do shampoo as henna needs time to develop in a darker tone.

Also, read the Review of Nilini ayurvedic hair color by Shesha Ayurveda.

After wash experience

After wash, I saw that my hair became very dry and frizzy. They were so tangled that I could not comb them. I let my hair dry, applied hair oil then somehow I was able to comb. It was so rough and dry hair and this is the time when you decide not to apply henna anymore.

khadi shuddha black mehendi review

Shade developed with black henna

Now, what about the color shade developed on white hair. I wanted coverage for white hair and it was somewhat satisfactory. It was not black but it was somewhat close to brown shade. If you see from a distance then you can say the color is developed perfectly and you can't differentiate between the naturally black hair and grey hair which now turned to brown after coloring.

When you see closer then you will find out that it is not darker tone but a tint of brown shade has covered the white hair. Anyway, this is fine with me.

I kept the hair oil for 2 days and after 48 hours I washed my hair with shampoo. After shampoo, I expected the tone will fade away but you can see the hair there is no much difference in the tone.

Let me tell you one thing that this color fades with every wash and does not last long.

Conclusion

Khadi Shuddha Black Mehendi gave me the perfect brown shade I wanted but it made my hair dry and frizzy so I have to apply some natural mask (such as flaxseed gel or egg) immediately which makes my hair manageable.

This was satisfactory and I was happy with the color developed but I do not recommend black henna to be used regularly for coloring your hair as it contains PPD. Frequent use of kali mehendi might be harmful to your hair. Natural henna would be the better option.

Train travel during Covid 19 period - My experience

Train travel during Covid 19 period - My experience

It was March month of the year 2021. We are still living in Covid 19 period and following all the Corona guidelines sincerely. We had to travel from Nashik to Bhubaneshwar by train. So here I will share my experience of how it all went through the train while assuring ourselves safe from the Covid 19 virus.

train travel in covid 19 time in india

We have traveled by train several times for longer and shorter distances. Most of the time our train journey is 24+hour long. Usually, we travel in the 2nd AC and 3rd AC compartments.

After we decided to travel from Nashik to Bhubaneshwar, I was a bit skeptical about the train journey. The crowd, sanitization, toiletries, etc, all made me think about whether this journey is safe or not for all of us.

train travel in covid time
Inside view of 2nd AC coach of the train during Covid 19 period

We booked our tickets easily for 2nd AC and this time I found that the prices were far more than the earlier prices before the corona period. On top of that, there is no provision (inclusion) of beddings due to Corona. Also, the curtains removed from everywhere.

Carrying our own beddings with us was a headache for me as we already had huge packing items. I was annoyed that we are paying more amount with no benefit buy I was wrong later I came to know.

On traveling day our train arrived at the perfect time and we boarded. I was happy that we had no waiting period on the platform. Immediately we left as arrived at the railway station.

Now I saw the railway station was not at all overcrowded as it used to be usually before Covid 19 and everybody on the platform wearing a mask. This was relaxing and satisfactory for me.

The inside story of the train in Covid 19

We occupied our 2 seats and settled ourselves. I scanned the whole compartment and saw that only half of the bogie (coach) was occupied by passengers and all the side lower and upper berths were vacant.

There were no curtains anywhere, no bedsheets, blankets, and no pillows.

train travel during covid in india

I found public sanitizer nowhere inside the bogie for passengers. Do not forget to carry your pocket sanitizer with you always and keep on using it regularly.

Food, tea, etc were being sold by railway to the passengers. Other than these other eatable items were also being sold by vendors.

Toilets and cleanliness remained same as it was earlier. I saw no difference here. Toilets stink after few hours. Cleaning members come at their scheduled time and clean the bogie.

The mask was worn by every railway staff but most of the time they used to slide down the chin.

In the 2nd AC, every compartment has 6 seats including side berths. During our train travel, I saw that every compartment accommodated a maximum of 4 persons only. Some of the compartments had 1,2 or 3 only and also a few remain unoccupied.

train travel in corona time

I think most of the people were avoiding train travel during Covid period, therefore, the bogies of the train are not completely full. Also maybe the side berths are not being booked to avoid too much rush in the AC bogies.

Whatever is the reason but we enjoyed our train journey this time as we owned the whole compartment for more than half of the travel period. Overall our journey was okay and went off smoothly.

The only problem is carrying bedding, this is extra luggage but it's okay as it is only for our safety. After all, you are safer in your own kind of stuff.

Wear the mask, keep on sanitizing regularly and you will have a safe journey in Covid time.

Vestige lipstick review - Mistral of Milan (MOM) lipstick shade price

Vestige lipstick review - Mistral of Milan (MOM) lipstick (Creme matte)

Mistral of Milan (MOM), the color cosmetics brand of Vestige, recently introduced super 16 shades of Crème matte lipstick, and here is my honest review of the same.

Also, read the Review of Chambor's Transfer proof liquid lipstick.

Packaging of Mistral of Milan (MOM) lipstick (Crème matte):

The packaging you can see in the image. The outer casing has all the details of the lipstick such as brand, shade name with number, packaging date, specification of this lipstick, and the quantity. They do not mention the ingredients used. Cap of the lipstick is tight enough so carrying in a handbag while traveling is not a problem.

vestige mistral of milan lipsticks review

vestige mistral of milan lipsticks review

Specification Mistral of Milan (MOM) Crème matte lipstick:

  • Supplemented with SPF 15
  • Instilled with Vitamin E&A
  • The deep color gives full coverage in one stroke
  • Moisturizing and smooth

Shades of Mistral of Milan (MOM) lipstick (Crème matte):

Mistral of Milan (MOM) lipstick (Crème matte) range has a total of 16 shades and you may check out all the shades at the Vestige website.

I bought the Choco lava (015) shade for myself. This is chocolaty color and suits all skin tone. I have a medium skin tone and it was looking nice on me. Since the choco lava lipstick shade is dark so it fits with every skin tone.

Pigmentation:

This is highly pigmented and no need to apply several strokes of lipstick for better coverage.

vestige mistral of milan lipsticks review

Vestige Mistral of Milan (MOM) lipstick price:

Mistral of Milan (MOM) Crème matte lipstick price is Rs. 425 for a quantity of 4.2 g. This is the catalog price but if you join Vestige then you may purchase it for Rs. 360 only. If you do not want to join Vestige then find a Vestige distributor and purchase it from them at a discounted price i.e. Rs. 360.

Specification wise, I find the Mistral of Milan (MOM) Crème matte lipsticks more close to the Maybelline Creamy Matte lipsticks from most of the aspects like pigmentation, texture, lasting hours, etc. But the price of the Mistral of Milan Crème matte lipstick is higher than the Maybelline. Also, the MOM Crème matte lipstick has only 16 shades whereas Maybelline Creamy Matte lipstick has a wider range of a total of 32 shades to choose from.

Best and unique gift ideas for girls or women - Starting Rs. 500

Application and Lasting duration:

Since this is highly pigmented so you do not have to worry while applying it. One stroke is enough to cover the lips. The texture of the lipstick is nice and feels good on the lips. No need to apply lip balm before applying Mistral of Milan (MOM) lipstick due to the creamy texture as this is infused with Shea butter for deep moisturizing. This keeps lips moisturized. But highly suggest scrubbing your lips before applying the lipstick.

How long does Mistral of Milan Lipstick (Crème matte) last?

This is a matte lipstick but it transfers. Not very much but it transfers easily a little bit. It lasts for almost 3 hours after that you need a light touch up. If you eat something then it transfers some amount of lipstick but it is okay.

How to remove Mistral of Milan (MOM) lipstick?

Removing Mistral of Milan Crème matte lipstick is not a big deal; any makeup remover can remove it. This simply comes out with the rose water also.

Conclusion:

I am satisfied enough with the Vestige Mistral of Milan (MOM) Crème matte lipstick but I suppose this is costly as compared to other brands’ lipsticks with closer characteristics such as Maybelline. Maybelline creamy lipsticks cost only Rs. 299 while the Mistral of Milan (MOM) Crème matte lipstick costs Rs. 360 for a vestige member otherwise Rs. 425 if you purchase from some vestige distributor.

How to purchase Vestige Mistral of Milan (MOM) lipstick?

You may purchase any of the Vestige products from any Vestige distributor or buy for yourself by registering in the Vestige. To join Vestige or become a Vestige member you may contact any of the Vestige distributors. They will do registration for you and guide you for better purchasing. You will find several vestige distributors online from social media like Facebook, Instagram, etc.

If you do not find any Vestige distributors and interested to join Vestige then you may contact us through email at myreviewhall@gmail.com or you may reach us on Facebook or Instagram, we will help you to join Vestige for shopping vestige products.

Review of hexi app and hexi bicycles based on my experience

Since many days I was observing bicycles at the several Hexi stations at various places all over Nashik city which can be used by anyone through Hexi mobility app. One fine day I decided to use these cycles just for fun as I could not ride cycle for many years. Whenever I used to see this, the urge to ride this cycle appeared and finally I satisfied my urge of riding cycle offered by Hexi. Here is my review of Hexi bicycle-sharing or riding using the Hexi app based on my experience.

Also, read How to use Hexi app for riding Hexi bicycles

My experience with Hexi app and Hexi Bicycles

hexi app bicycle review
Hexi Station

  1. Hexi App downloading and registration was done successfully. For the first time trial, I recharged my Hexi account with Rs. 5 for 30 minutes ride. Please go through the post How to use Hexi app for riding Hexi bicycles to know more about the Hexi app and subscription plans.
  2. I searched for Hexi stations near to my location; I found one of them just 500 meters away and landed there for riding.
  3. There were 7-8 bikes or bicycles at the Hexi stations. Picked one of them, opened the Hexi app and clicked on “Unlock bike”. I scanned the QR code at the back of the Hexi bikes and lock was unlocked automatically.
  4. I was trying to pull out the bicycle to ride and suddenly the trip was ended in the Hexi app automatically. I don’t know what happened but the trip was ended within a few seconds (Later I contacted customer care, told them about this issue and they provided me a free ride for 30 minutes).
  5. Then I thought to recharge again and ride for 30 minutes. This time I unlocked another Hexi bike. But again I could not ride the Hexi bike because this time I selected the bicycle whose front tyre was damaged. I did the mistake of NOT checking the Hexi bikes’ condition properly before unlocking. The recharge for this trip was wasted. Then I checked every cycle parked at that Hexi station and found most of them were not in good condition with damaged parts like the seat, tyre, etc.
  6. In the end, I picked one of them in better condition, unlocked and rode it successfully. The riding was comfortable enough though the bicycle feels a bit heavy. Please note, the bell is built in the right handle grip. I did not know about the bell before starting the ride as you won’t see the bell as in other bicycles.
  7. Hexi bikes are GPS monitored secured from theft. Locations of Hexi bikes are updated on the Hexi app.
hexi app bicycle review

hexi app bicycle review

Tips:

  • Check the bicycle condition before unlocking the Hexi bikes.
  • There is no timer in the app after you start the ride. You take care of the timing yourself after unlocking the bike because riding a Hexi bike more than 30 minutes in a single trip will cause extra payment of Rs. 5 per 30 minutes. You won’t be able to END Trip after locking the Hexi bike manually if you rode more than 30 minutes in a single trip. In this case, when you END trip the app will ask you to pay again. If you do not END trip then you can’t unlock the Hexi bike next time. So better you supervise your riding minutes after unlocking to avoid extra payment or hassle.

Availability of Hexi Bikes:

As per the website, till now the Hexi network is spread in just 7 cities in India and they are Chandigarh, Jabalpur, Bhubaneshwar, Nashik, Vizag, and Kochi. But these details do not match with the Hexi station network in the Hexi app. If you are looking for Hexi stations in your location then I suggest downloading the Hexi app and find the nearest Hexi station if it is there in your location. In my city Nashik, there are plenty of Hexi stations at different locations.

How to contact Hexi customer care?

  • I have already mentioned the steps to report any problem concerned with Hexi app, payment or Hexi bicycles in this post, you may go through it.
  • Contact details are mentioned in the Hexi website and app.
    Hexi technologies
    Hero Youon Pvt Ltd
Second floor, Augusta point, golf course rd, Gurgaon, Haryana.
    Phone: 07528810000, Email: support@hexi.co.in

My experience with Hexi customer care

  • I had some issues and queries about Hexi app so I tried calling them on the above-mentioned number. Initially, I could not connect as it was showing switched off but I did not let it go and tried the next day and this time I was connected successfully.
  • The lady at the other end was not very active and soft-spoken but quite enough to answer all my queries and suffice my issues.
  • I also mentioned about damaged Hexi bikes’ and she told me to click the picture of those bicycles and send it to them through the Hexi app and they will take the necessary action.

Conclusion:

Overall it was a nice experience of riding bicycles using the Hexi app but still, the app, as well as the working system of Hexi, needs more development I think. At least they must have the record of the condition of the Hexi bikes available on the stations regularly. They should also notify before completing the 30 minutes ride to avoid extra payment of Rs. 5 per 30 minutes.

Have you ever ridden the Hexi bikes? If yes then how was your experience and what is your feedback?

Dr. Jains Greynil Herbal Hair Color Review (Brown and dark shade)

Dr. Jains Greynil Herbal Hair Color Review

This is a genuine review of Dr. Jain's Greynil Herbal Hair Color which is purely based on my experience. I am a regular customer of hair color and I cannot afford to miss coloring my hair due to the wide range of grey hair on my head. I suffered from grey hair at a very young age and with the passage of time, it spread like hell. Initially, I did not care for grey hair as it was in a few strands but later it covered more areas, and then I started using hair color.

Many years passed like that with the chemical hair color but I was looking for some natural ways to color my hair to avoid damage from chemicals present in hair colors. I tried henna/mehndi also but with mehndi, my hair looked more dried and frizzy. Then one day, one of my friends suggested using Dr. Jain's Greynil to color my hair. She told me that this is the herbal powder for the treatment of grey hair. Though this is also a henna or mehndi mixture, the herbal word attracted me and I thought to give it a chance.

Also, read Dr. Jain's Aloe vera gel review.

About Dr. Jain's Greynil mehndi powder mixture:

Greynil is Dr. Jain's herbal product which is used to color grey hair. This is a mixture of hair coloring agents Henna/mehndi and Indigo with Sofia oil. This herbal mixture is safe, effective, and good for hair health, claimed by The brand Dr. Jain.

Dr. Jain's greynil reviews
Greynil mehndi packaging

Greynil Packaging and Texture:

As the Greynil is a mixture of henna (mehndi), indigo and Sofia oil so the texture of this product is the same as henna. The packaging you can see in the image. All the required details are mentioned on the outer packaging along with instructions to use. Packaging includes Greynil packet, an instruction page, and a pair of plastic gloves (to be used while application of Greynil paste) inside.

Greynil Shade and Price:

Greynil comes in only two shades and they are black and brown shade. This is a limitation of this product. I have used both, brown shade as well as dark shade for my hair. The price of this herbal powder mixture for the treatment of grey hair is Rs. 150 for 100 gm.

Availability of Greynil:

Availability of this product is not a big deal, this is available everywhere. You will find it in any medical store. Few general stores also keep it in stock but if you do not get it there then visit any medical store and get it for you. You may buy this online too at the same price.

How to use Greynil powder?

Dr. Jain's greynil review
Greynil paste prepared with boiling water
Take enough quantity of Greynil powder in a bowl as per your hair volume. Boil water in a pan and add this boiling water to the Greynil powder while stirring continuously. Mix them properly and make a paste. The consistency of the mixture should not be very thick or very thin. When the paste turns lukewarm then apply it to the hair and let it sit for 2 hours. Once the duration of 2 hours completes, cleanse it with lukewarm water and avoid using shampoo.

Result:

First I used brown shade Greynil on my grey hair and I saw that the result was the same as the henna or mehndi application. White hair turned golden brown. Since it is a herbal powder and it does not last for a longer period like chemical hair colors so this is advised to be applied once a week initially.

The first week, I applied brown shade on white hair which turned my hair golden brown. Then next week I chose to apply dark shade and the result was satisfactory. Golden brown hair was turned to a nice brown shade. Still, grey hair turned brown were looking differentiated from the rest of the black hair on my head but this was looking okay, better than the golden brown.

Greynil dark shade won't turn your white hair to black but if you apply it after the application of henna or Greynil brown hair color then you will develop a nice brown shade. You can see the result in the below picture.

Result after the application of Greynil dark shade hair color

Dr. Jain's brand asks to repeat coloring hair with Greynil once a week for the first month and then later on you may increase the duration by 2 weeks. This helps to darken the grey hair gradually with continuous application.

Practically I could not apply Greynil paste every week. I was not very satisfied with this color so I could not continue with this product for longer and discontinued using it thereafter.

Initially, I was not happy with this paste as it involved several hours and I had to apply it every week but later on, I compromised with it for the sake of best results for my hair.

I knew that regular chemical hair colors were damaging my hair so I decided to replace the chemical products with herbal products. I started using herbal shampoo, stopped using hair conditioners, regularly applied DIY hair masks, and picked herbal hair colors like Greynil for coloring my hair. Now I think this was the best decision. Within a month, severe hair fall stopped, and hair was softer, smoother, and shinier than before.

Conclusion:

I suggest using Greynil brown shade first and then applying a dark shade to develop the perfect brown shade. You can also visit the salon with your Greynil pack or call someone from the salon for the application purpose. This will make your work easier.

Clean your hair simply with water and do not use shampoo. Oil is necessary and keep the hair for the next 48 hours and then wash the hair with shampoo.

Now I like Greynil and I regularly use it myself. At the same time, I keep on conditioning my hair with DIY hair masks. It makes my hair healthier and they do not become rough with the use of henna or Greynil.

If you cannot apply Greynil once a week or you are one of those who do not like to apply henna or any other hair color to your hair by yourself then this is not for you. If you are patient enough to apply it every week then you may go ahead with Greynil. This will not give you the exact similar result, you get after applying other chemical hair colors available in the market but this is one of the good alternatives to chemical hair color.

Chambor transfer proof Liquid Lipstick 434 Review-My Experience

Chambor Liquid Lipstick Review

This review is about Chambor brands' Extreme wear transfer-proof liquid lipstick and I must say this is amazing. This is the first time I am using Chambor lipstick and I am really impressed with it. I am in love with it just after the first application.

About Chambor:

Chambor (http://www.chambor.com/) is a cosmetic/beauty brand from Switzerland which offers a broad range of innovative beauty products for skin, body, face, eyes, lips, and nails. They claim their products are free from animal ingredients. Chambor products are available all over India online as well as offline. They really have an amazing collection of beauty products.

Till today I have only used the single product of Chambor and that is Extreme wear transfer-proof liquid lipstick. Now let's see the review.

Also, read the Review of Vestige lipstick - MOM Creme matte lipstick.

Packaging of Chambor liquid lipstick:

The packaging is compact and nice. It comes in a nice see-through packaging as you can see in the image. The shade of the lipstick can be seen without opening the cap. Also, the shade number is marked on the bottom of the lipstick. Shade name not mentioned anywhere but the shade number marked on outer as well as the inner pack. The outer casing has all necessary information including the brand name, shade number, quantity, description, and ingredients.

Shade:

I got Chambor Extreme wear transfer-proof liquid lipstick shade no. 434 and this is the dark brick red color I guess. It suits every skin tone. Whether it is a light or dark complexion, it goes well for all. The pigmentation of this lipstick is great, just one stroke is enough. Chambor has a number of sexy and hot shades available to choose from. You may check out if interested.

Price of Chambor transfer-proof liquid lipstick:

It costs Rs. 845/- for 6 ml quantity. Price is a bit higher but if I get a good product then I don't mind.

Best and unique gift ideas for girls or women - Starting Rs. 500

Application:
Have a look at the applicator, this is well designed for the appropriate application of the lipstick. It doesn't let you feel the heaviness after application. You don't have to apply several coats as it produces great color in just one stroke and dries very soon. This gives you a creamy matte finish and leaves smooth lips. One thing I like the most about this lipstick is that this is transfer-proof. It does not transfer even after eating or drinking. Chambor Extreme wear transfer-proof liquid lipsticks are really long-lasting and this is the reason I love it. Anyone looking for long-lasting lipstick should not miss this product and try it once.

Chambor liquid lipstick review

Note: Scrub your lips before applying this lipstick because this gives you a matte finish look and it won't look good with the dead skin on.

How to remove:
You need oil-based makeup remover to clean it. You have no other option.

Recommend Chambor liquid lipstick or not?

I am happy with Chambor's Extreme wear transfer-proof liquid lipstick shade 434 and I will surely recommend trying it once. Choose your shade from the Chambor's range.

From where to get it: Chambor brand products are found all over India through various stores located in every city. To locate a nearby store in your city, go to the website of Chambor, click on "Store Locator" and select your city out of the various cities mentioned in the list. Now you get the store with the full address. Otherwise, you can purchase it online also.

Dr. Jains Aloe Vera Gel Review

Dr. Jain's Aloe vera gel review

The brand "Dr. Jain's" is known for its various herbal and ayurvedic products in beauty and health sector. I was not aware of this brand until one of my friends suggested me herbal henna to color my hair. I am possessed with grey hair at an early age and I can't manage without hair color. I need to color my hair regularly at least once a month so I was looking for some natural hair color (to avoid damage to the hair) if available in the market. So here my friend advised me to try Dr. Jain's herbal hair color/henna. Thus I was introduced to Dr. Jain's brand. Let the herbal color be aside and let's focus on Dr. Jain's aloe vera gel.

I was okay with Patanjali aloe vera gel but I thought of substitute of it so I went with Dr. Jain's aloe vera gel as I had already heard few positive feedbacks of this brand's beauty products. I bought one for me and tried for hair conditioning and skin woes.

My review for Dr. Jain's Aloe Vera Gel

I have used Dr. Jain's aloe vera gel for hair conditioning and I found that this is okay but not very effective like the original one. For skin, I would say this is really good. I had a slight burn mark on my face, daily I used to apply aloe vera gel on my face before sleep and you know what burn mark was gone after a few weeks. But it doesn't remove scars or marks overnight, it takes time depending on the type of scar or mark. Also, it heals pimples sooner than Patanjali aloe vera gel.

Pros:

  • Dr. Jain's aloe vera gel pack includes a pamphlet stating several uses and benefits of aloe vera gel.
  • The gel is smooth and can be applied easily.
  • It can also be used for fixing and setting hair, claimed by the brand Dr. Jain's.
  • The texture is quite close to the original aloe vera gel.

Cons:

  • Dr. Jain's aloe vera gel is a bit expensive as compared to other aloe vera gel such as Patanjali. It costs Rs. 120 for 100 gm.
  • Packing is not very user-friendly. It comes in a box with an upper lid.
  • This is not easily available like Patanjali aloe vera gel.

 Recommendation:

Yes, I will recommend Dr. Jain's aloe vera gel as a substitute for original aloe vera gel.

Do you know, you can make hand sanitizer at home using aloe vera gel?

Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel Review

Patanjali Aloe vera gel review

Aloe vera plant is known as a miracle plant because aloe vera gel works wonders for various skin and hair woes. Nowadays aloe vera gel is widely available in the market under the different brand name. They all meant to serve the purpose of various skin and hair treatment. I have used fresh aloe vera gel removed from the aloe vera plant for my hair fall issue and since then I am a big fan of aloe vera.  I applied it regularly twice a week, it was directly removed from aloe vera leaves and yes it did the miracle for me. There was a significant change in hair loss, now hair strands were lesser on the pillow, floor or comb. But I can’t have aloe vera plant everywhere with me so I shifted to the packed one available in the market. Patanjali is a well-known brand and its products are easily available so I got Patanjali aloe vera gel for me.

My Review for Patanjali aloe vera gel

Patanjali aloe vera gel review

  1. Patanjali aloe vera gel is cheaper than other aloe vera gels available in the market and this is easily available. It costs Rs. 40 for 60 ml.
  2. Fragrance, it smells better than the original one.
  3. Patanjali aloe vera gel is a good option for hair conditioning but the result is not as effective as original aloe vera gel which is removed from the fresh-cut aloe vera leaves. You may choose it over other commercial hair conditioners.
  4. Patanjali aloe vera gel for pimples, it takes a longer time to cure than natural/original aloe vera gel. Also, read How to remove pimples overnight using aloe vera.
  5. I love to use it as a moisturizer for my face. I use it after a bath and before sleep or whenever I wash my face. It absorbs nicely with the massage. Do not apply a thick layer of aloe vera gel to avoid stickiness.
  6. Patanjali aloe vera gel can also be used as a primer in make-up.  The gel is very smooth and easy to apply.
  7. Recommendation: I will surely recommend it for the skin as well as hair.
